FDF Cup 2022, Chula Vista, CA

Pro Soccer Consulting (PSC Soccer) has teamed up with the Forgotten Dogs Foundation to run an elite soccer event in San Diego, California from August 26-28, 2022 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. The 3 day event will include professional and college coaches from around the country with elite professional training sessions and showcase games. The Forgotten Dogs Foundation is headed by current USA Men’s National Team, Assistant Coach Anthony Hudson.

He has coached several national teams including New Zealand, United States and Bahrain and also high level club football in many different parts of the world. One consistent wherever he has gone is his two dogs, who have also travelled the globe. A big dog lover and through being a dog owner, has witnessed the grave issues that surround pet overpopulation and the need to do something about it. Education, adoption, fostering and supporting, in order to help save as many dogs as possible. Anthony and the board, including former Tottenham Hotspurs coach Harry Redknapp, set up the FDF in 2020 with a big mission to make a difference. All funds raised from the event will go towards supporting the FDF mission!

Tournament Registration & Package Details

The FDF cup is open to Boys teams U19 & U17 & U16, and girls teams U17 & U14:

• Top players will be identified for professional trial opportunities.
• Players in attendance will have the opportunity to be selected to attend
2022 PSC Pro Combine Events.
• College and Professional Coaches will be in attendance to scout potential
players.

Each team in the tournament is guaranteed:

Three games guaranteed 3 x 35 min halves with referee fees included
Exposure to Professional coaches
Exposure to Collegiate coaches
High quality soccer fields at the Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista
Application Deadline:
Applications must be submitted before July 1st, 2022. Teams will be
assessed by tournament Directors and notified within 7 days
regarding acceptance.

The Chula Vista Olympic Training Center was the first center to be master planned from the ground up as an Olympic Training Center and is dedicated
to the development and performance of America’s future Olympic and
Paralympic athletes. It will provide our players with top quality grass fields
over the 2 days.

Anthony Hudson

Anthony Hudson is the current USA Men’s National Team Assistant Coach and previously worked with their U20 team as Head Coach. He will in attendance at the FDF Cup. Previously, Anthony has been Head Coach with the New Zealand National Team, Bahrain and MLS’s Colorado Rapids as well as numerous other clubs around the world. A UEFA Pro licensed coach he has also spent time working at Tottenham Hotspurs.

Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor is the Director of Operations for PSC Soccer and has previously played and coached professional in the USL. Over the last 10 years he has assisted hundreds of American players with opportunities into the professional game around the world through PSC Showcase events.

Lee Holmes

Lee is a former professional soccer player for Derby County, Southampton, Walsall, Exeter City, Preston North End as well as being a former England youth international player. He was the youngest ever player and goalscorer for Derby County as a 15 year old back in 2002 and has recently been working with PSC around the world to develop, coach and identify top prospects through their showcase programs.
