Kalvin Lingard: Signed with Nordvarmland (Sweden)

Atlanta Pro Soccer Tryout Participant Signs in Sweden

After standout performances in PSC’s Atlanta pro soccer tryout in July, Kalvin Lingard has signed professionally in Sweden with Nordvarmland FF for the remainder of the 2020 season.

The Division Two team was eager to bring in some strong talent for the remainder of the season, which has been cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PSC Director Tom Taylor, who evaluated Lingard at the Atlanta tryout and subsequently recommended him commented: “Kalvin really caught the eye at the Atlanta event this summer. He showed a lot of quality on the ball as well as the right mentality and work rate off it. After speaking with several clubs in Europe his profile fit well for Nordvarmland and they immediately wanted to bring him over to Sweden. Division 2 in Sweden is an excellent place for players coming out of college to begin their career so we will see how he progresses over the next few months and hopefully it can be a really good first step for him!”

Lingard is not the first PSC player to sign in Nordvarmland after Izsak Fierro signed with the club last year following impressive performances on our showcase tour.

All here at PSC wish Kalvin and Nordvarmland the best for the remainder of the season.
