PSC are proud to announce the signing of Michaela Loebel, who has signed her first pro contract with Fjardab/Hottur/Leiknir for the 2021 season.

The University of Lincoln Nebraska graduate joined up with her new teammates this week, including recent PSC signings Anne Bailey and Bayleigh Chaviers.

The central midfielder was signed by the club following recommendation from PSC Women’s Director Simon Deeley, who also placed Maggie Smither in Iceland earlier this year, had the following to say:

“It has all happened so fast with Michaela, in 72 hours she found out about the opportunity and committed to it without hesitation. With that kind of character and attitude I am looking forward to seeing how she gets on this season.”

“She is going into a good club, with a good coach. The team are seeking promotion this season after missing out so narrowly in the past 2 seasons. I know they have brought some strong talent in this year and hopefully all three PSC players will be celebrating come season’s end!”
