PSC are proud to announce another signing in Iceland as Momola Adesanmi has signed with Fjolnir in the Icelandic First Division.
PSC have a strong relationship with Fjolnir Head Coach Julius Jonsson who attended tryouts in 2020 before signing Kelley Johnson to Afturelding later that summer.
In search of talent ahead of the 2022 season Jonsson reached out to PSC who recommended Mo Adesanmi to the club who tied her down to a deal for 2022 season.
The University of Missouri Center Back has joined up with the club ready to make an impact in Europe. We caught up with Mo ahead of her debut pro season to find out her thoughts:
What is it about playing in Iceland that you are most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to playing in a new soccer environment/new style and adapting or evolving with my new team.
What are your hopes and goals for this season (both individually and as a team)?
I hope to grow in my game as a defender, & help the team to the top half of the league.
How has your experience been with PSC and their facilitating of the deal?
My experience has been good, I appreciate their diligence and care to help me at this level.
Is there anyone you would like to thank or acknowledge at this time?
I’m forever grateful to God for the gift & opportunity to play this sport, even intro he next level. And I’m super grateful to my family, friends, teammates and coaches that have encouraged & supported me over the years. I would be able without them.
