What is the benefit of attending a PSC professional soccer tryout in America?
Players often ask us at PSC how to make the transition from amateur to professional soccer player in the United States of America. The answer is simple, impress a coach of a professional soccer team enough for them to want to sign you. The answer may be simple, but the process, is not. Professional Head Coaches are busy, and have large amounts of resumes, videos, recommendations sent to them each day and do not physically have the time to process them all.
That is why so many of them use our professional soccer tryouts as a vehicle to find untapped talent in the USA. At our tryouts, players will play 11v11 games directly in front of attending Head Coaches and Scouts with the aim of impressing enough to be offered a professional contract and begin their soccer career.
Here at PSC in America, we organize and facilitate events so that coaches have the opportunity to not only watch attending players, but also the opportunity to coach them in a team environment. Each team at our professional soccer tryouts is assigned a head coach who will meet with the team prior to the game, and coach them during the game, giving them the valuable one to one interaction which allows them to make a more accurate judgment and evaluation of a player.
Although the aim of the tryout is to showcase, and not development, this one to one attention from player to coach allows players to get instant feedback and work on areas of their game which may be preventing them making the step into the professional game.
PSC’s combines offer you the chance to showcase your skills in front of our staff and guest coaches, if you are interested in attending one of our upcoming USA professional soccer tryouts, and showcasing yourself directly to the coaches and scouts in attendance, please check out all our upcoming events here:
