PSC are proud to announe their third UK residential program success story this week as Vincenzo Masitti has signed with Syracuse Pulse in NISA on a short term deal following Paul Coopers signing with Barnsley FC and Nicholas Jandeleit being offered a contract by Bodens BK in Sweden.
Masitti was first seen by PSC at our New York tryout in December 2021 where his performances stood out to PSC Residential Director Lee Holmes. Lee saw potential in the central midfielder and although not the finished product, wanted to help him help fine tune his game and become more marketable to professional clubs.
He had this opportunity during PSC’s six-week UK residential program with daily trainings and games. Masitti commented “It was a step up from the level I was playing in America, I learned to play quicker and make decisions quicker” He continued, “The professionalism of the coaching and training is intense, it’s like a pre-season”
Director Lee Holmes commented “Vinny has been great for us during this summer. One of the standouts of the group he has improved his game and in my opinion is ready to progress into the professional level now. It’s great to see him get this opportunity, it is thoroughly deserved!”
Vincenzo will join up with Syracuse this week during their California road trip and will take a close look at the New Jersey native as he looks to earn an extended deal for 2023. Everyone at PSC wishes him the very best!
