2018 Baltic Showcase Tour attendee Thomas Vargas has earned trials with Lithuanian top-flight side FK Kauno Žalgiris.
The 19-year-old forward will join up with the club for a one-week trial period, after impressing Žalgiris Sporting Director Andrius Velička, who has been watching PSC’s Baltic Showcase Tour games in search of talented players to join his squad.
Vargas is the fourth player to benefit from PSC’s relationship with ICST Soccer, a company that selects talented Columbian players to attend PSC’s combines and tours.
The frontman will join up with the Žalgiris squad later this week, looking to bring some South American flair to Lithuania, and continue the fine form he’s displayed throughout the Showcase Tour.
All of the staff here at PSC wish the very best of luck to Thomas during his trial period with FK Kauno Žalgiris.
